Boston Made branded pattern on a red background representing the ecosystem identity

If you have landed on the Boston Made App for the first time, you might be wondering what exactly you are looking at. The short answer: a portfolio of independent brands built around a shared identity, a shared membership layer, and a shared commitment to doing things deliberately.

The ecosystem currently spans roughly ten distinct properties. Some are media-focused — the Newsroom at bostonmadeinc.com publishes editorial content, wires, and educational pieces. Others are market-oriented, like BOSSTOX, which covers financial markets and trading. PupWear serves the pet lifestyle space. Paxton Digital is the parent company and digital infrastructure layer. Kingswell Strategic Ventures handles the ventures side.

The best starting point for most visitors is the Discovery flow on the homepage. It asks you a few questions about what you are looking for — whether that is news, community, services, or something specific to one brand — and routes you to the most relevant destination. It is not a quiz with a single right answer; it is a navigation tool.

The Directory is the other essential tool. It lists every brand alphabetically with a status indicator: Public means the brand is fully live and accepting visitors. Profile means a brand page exists but the full site may still be in development. Developing means the brand is in progress. Filtering by category or status helps narrow things down quickly.

One thing worth understanding early: the brands are independent. They share infrastructure and identity, but each one has its own purpose, audience, and content. Visiting BOSSTOX is a different experience from visiting PupWear. The App is the connective layer — the place to orient yourself before going deeper into any one brand.

The Boston Made Passport is the cross-brand authentication system. If you create an account here and a participating brand supports Passport, you can connect your identity across sites without creating separate accounts. It is opt-in and you control which sites you connect to.

Start with the Discovery flow. Save the brands that interest you to Favorites. Come back to the Directory when you want to explore more systematically. That is the intended path through the ecosystem.
